Crystal ball trading terminal
The glass says demo across every square inch of it. The hand on the button never reads that far.
History of the tent
Before the velvet, this table sold real futures under fluorescent light. Booth fourteen, trading floor, closed on a Friday and never reopened. The orb sat under a drop cloth for three years, plug still in the wall.
It shipped as a ninety day demo unit. The trial lapsed in week two of the shutdown, and the license renewal invoice went out to an office that had already closed. The watermark kept running anyway. It was the one feature that never needed anyone's permission to keep working.
The orb does not lie. It just never says anything past what the demo license already allows.
The teller found it stacked in with the folding chairs, plugged it back in for the candlelight, and it lit up green over an empty chart. That was reading enough. The tarot deck went in the drawer, and every session at this table since has run on hardware whose bill stopped at week two.
The ledger
The reading is fixed. These are not. Every figure below is this browser's own count, kept nowhere but here.
Readings from the faithful
Refinanced the boat on the strength of the green bars. Found out later the bars are the same chart every single time. Would book the same table again.
Told my broker the ball said plus four twenty. He asked which ball. I said the demo one. He put me on hold and never came back to the line.
Eight months, every Tuesday, same table. Not one winning session in the lot. Not one missed Tuesday either.
It spelled DEMO in letters I could read clean across the tent, and I chose to believe the ball over the sign anyway.
The upgrade path
Three tiers. One of them is the table you are already sitting at.

Before you duck inside
Because it is a demo. The license lapsed years ago, and the watermark is the one part of this whole setup that never once lies about what it is.
The teller has yet to watch a hand pull back from the button because of it. The word covers a fair share of the visible glass. The button gets pressed anyway, every time, by everyone.
It is the same number every session: win streak or not, Tuesday or not, first visit or hundredth. That is not a flaw in the reading. That is the whole reading.
You have not paid for anything. The orb keeps no ledger of its own, no card on file, nothing past what your own browser remembers between visits. Sit back down.
The counter climbs by a hundred. The reading holds at plus 420 percent. The glass keeps spelling DEMO the entire time. Some questions answer themselves faster than the teller can.
